Part 1: Order of St. John of Jerusalem

The following is a 23 part presentation given by William Cranker to the Queensbury Masonic Historical Society on January 30, 2011.  The presentation consists of 30 Power Point slides and is divided accordingly.

This presentation touches on the struggle between Christianity and Islam, always a sensitive area and particularly in light of our countries current wars involving  radical Islamic extremists.   Freemasonry contains a basic principle of religious tolerance.  There is no doubt in my mind, that the inclusion of this concept is the result of free thinking men contemplating the violent historical religious struggles of mankind.  This presentation is a  discussion about one of those struggles.
